Annual Faculty of Engineering Scholarship Competitions:
There are two annual Faculty competitions, Year-Three Entrance and In-Course. They are identifiable by their deadlines, and require students to complete a generic application form. Please Note: Students cannot apply for a Year-Three Entrance award and an In-Course award in the same academic year.
All of the Faculty awards outlined below are listed in the Dalhousie undergraduate calendar under In-Course Scholarships, Faculty of Engineering. These awards are subject to annual review and often exceed the posted amounts.
1. Year-Three Entrance (students entering term 5), deadline April 30
Applications are now closed, and results will be available June 30.
Completed forms are to be submitted as follows:
Dalhousie students: Room 326, Dunn Building, Undergraduate Studies Office
Non-Dalhousie students: Director/Head/Chair of Engineering at the Associated University.Eligibility: Candidates must have fulfilled, by April 30, all of the entrance requirements for Year Three of an undergraduate program in the Faculties of Engineering or Computer Science, or Year One in the BEDS program in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, for awards for which students from these Faculties are also eligible.
Exceptions that require separate application forms:
G.P. Wilson Engineering in Business Scholarship, for Industrial Engineering students, deadline January 15. For more information, including an application form, click HERE.

Dr. Edward (Ted) Rhodes Scholarship in Engineering, for music and the arts, deadline September 30. Click HERE
Hira and Kamal Ahuja Engineering Scholarship, for cultural contributions to the East India community, also requires a covering letter, deadline September 30. Click HERE.Year Three Entrance Scholarships for students entering term 5 are listed in the university calendar under In-Course Scholarships.
2. In-Course (for students in years four and five) deadline September 30.

Please complete (print or type) and submit the form, along with your resume, to the Office of the Assoicate Dean of Engineering, Undergraduate Studies, Room A-109, by September 30th.Eligibility: Students returning to their fourth or fifth year of study.
Fourth-year students are also eligible to apply for the Dr. Edward (Ted) Rhodes Scholarship in Engineering, for music and the arts, listed above.
