Campus Life
We want your educational experience at Dalhousie to be outstanding. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff members are here to help and support you throughout your engineering education – all you need do is ask.
You can also broaden your Dalhousie experience by getting involved in engineering student societies, and the many activities and opportunities they offer. The Dalhousie University Sexton Campus Engineering Society (DUSCES) organizes several charity programs -- Pulling for the Kids raised over $6,000 for Christmas Daddies in 2006; the Christmas Angel project also provides toys for needy children at Christmas. In recognition of its outstanding contributions, DUSCES won the Atlantic Charity Challenge Award for 2004-2005.
Students also serve as members of the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia, visiting local high schools and assisting in the annual high school Egg Drop Competition.
